sparks fly at Platinum Fashion Festival

In 2014
North West School of Design held our first Platinum Fashion Festival. This
fashion festival was an official fashion event with the aim of bringing
together the North West’s leading influencers, designers and fashion crowd, in
style and extravagance. At the 2014 Fashion festival Six hundred and ten guests
attended the gala event, with an array of VIP'S and celebs seated in front row.
This year NWSD will be collaborating with Centurion academy –
Klerksdorp at the Platinum Fashion Festival. In partnership we will be launching
North West School of Design’s 1st Year’s Ancient World installation with
hairstyles styled by Centurion’s students. The NWSD Platinum Fashion Festival's
first year Installation incorporates live music, theatrical headwear and
fashion into one extravagant fashion show.
The audience will have a chance to become part of the creative action through
mingling through the hair styling process.
After the hair show, models will get dressed in the NWSD 1st
year’s Ancient world undergarments consisting of old world corsets, bloomers,
petticoats and a whole variety of vintage inspired undergarments.
