• Fashion Drive - A social event by NWSD, Mercedes Benz & Sanlam in aid of a local school for the disabled – Janie Schneider School
• Graduate Fashion Show – The highlight of the Klerksdorp/Potchefstroom social calendar.
• Advertising Fashion Show - whereby students design, make and model a fantasy branding garment using branding materials of participation malls.
• Fashion Talk -  local fashion networking event for students, designers, fashion suppliers and retailers
• Work Through the night – Students work from 14h00 to 2h00, on layout and cutting of fashion show collections.  
• Fashion Career Day – Our take on an Open Day for Grade 12 learners
• Model Open Casting - Casting models for our graduate show
• Annual Oscar Day -  the last day of class before exams start, we all dress up in our red carpet couture and each student is awarded with the award that suits them best
• Monthly ‘Alumni Update’ Fashion Shoot showcasing collections of NWSD graduates
• Photo shoot – NWSD annual Virtual Year Book
• Various fundraising events – from movie nights, team building projects to bake and sell days, and dress up fun days.
