2015 Platinum Fashion Festival 

2014 saw the first Platinum Fashion Festival, presented by North West School of Design with the initial goal to turn this fashion college’s annual graduation fashion show into an official fashion event with the aim of bringing together the North West’s leading influencers, designers and fashion crowd, in style and extravagance. The 2014 Platinum Fashion Festival provided a platform for creative designers to showcase their talent, boost their confidence, and develop collections that were based on market and trend research as well as realistic industry related conceptualizing processes. Student designers were able to make industry contacts and to network with South African Fashion leaders, buyers and media.

The 2015 Platinum Fashion Festival is presented by collaborating partners and sponsors such as North West School of Design, Makgone Management, Round Table 16, Centurion Academy – Klerksdorp Campus, North West Newspaper Group and many more.

The 2015 Platinum Fashion Festival will consist of a Fashion Fair Expo, Food Fair Expo, Children’s fashion crafting area, Centurion Academy Hair Show, NWSD 1st year’s Fashion Installation, The NWSD 3rd year’s Buyer’s Collections, NWSD Student Couture Collections, a networking area, VIP lounge, Red carpet photo spot.
