Reconnect - NWSD styles the movie

NWSD goes for a Hollywood Title as they take on a venture behind the scenes, catch a glimpse styling at its best on the new South African Movie Reconnect, showing in cinemas on the 16th October 2015 at Nu Metro Cinemas.

 NWSD Alumni Stacy Grant who worked on set with the styling had this to say about her experience

"I had the best time working on the movie Reconnect. Going into it, I was not quite sure what to expect, but I certainly did not think that I would gain so much from it. Not only was it a great experience in learning to do wardrobe for film (holistically from start to finish) but the great friendships that were made and the life lessons learned will stay with me forever. Being on the inside of this industry truly gave me a new perspective into films and what actually goes into it. One thing is certain, film making is not for the faint at heart. High pressure, extreme organisation, meticulous attention to detail, sleepless nights and long days make up the filming process. We should not forget the great friendships, the inside jokes, the bloopers and the adrenaline rushes that cement the great memories into our minds. I feel blessed, honoured and privileged to have been afforded the opportunity to be part of this amazing project. I urge you all to support local productions and to go watch Reconnect. "
